Visiting

A small town on the edge
of the Cotswolds

Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire — home of Bastardo's, sister to the Michelin-starred Royal Oak, Whatcote, ten minutes up the lane

Shipston is an old wool town on the River Stour, ten minutes from the Cotswolds proper and twenty from Shakespeare's front door. Fourteen seats wait in the middle of it, run by the same family as the Michelin-starred Royal Oak in the next village. This page is for finding them.
